We are pleased to report that Dental Holdings Co., Ltd. (the “Dental HD”) was established by the funds with which we provide investment-related services (*1), and Dental HD concluded the business alliance with the medical corporation which provides visiting dental care service in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
Dental HD is the holding company to support companies and medical corporation by having business and capital alliance with them for responding to changes in dental care industry.
While inflating Japanese medical cost with aging population has been the important social problem, as dental health management can protect elderly people from causes of hospitalization, such as aspiration pneumonia, recently the medical price revision has been favorable to preventive dental care service. On the other hand, the dental care industry has been facing labor shortage and has been required to provide diversified career paths to employees and improve operational efficiency by utilizing medical devices proactively.
J-STAR will continue to support the business growth of Dental HD by implementing capital and business alliance with companies and medical corporation, and improving business management for leveraging the strengths of those partners.
